3. LUCKY BAMBOO (DRACAENA SANDERIANA)
The Lucky Bamboo is one of the most popular Feng Shui plants along with the Jade Plant.
It is a symbol of good fortune and should be placed in the Wealth area of the home.
Water, wood and earth are three of the five elements associated with Lucky Bamboos because they grow in water.
Feng Shui uses a different set of stalks when creating an arrangement;
- 1 stalk: represents a life full of strength and prosperity.
- 2 stalks; symbol of love.
- 3 stalks; they symbolize success, abundance and happiness and are probably the best combination in one’s home.
- 4 stalks: represent negative energy and death. It is not advisable to arrange four stalks together.
- 5 stalks: symbolizes the health in the five areas that bring wealth in life; Emotional, Intuitive, Physical, Spiritual, Mental.
- 6 stalks: represent prosperity.
- 7 stalks: Symbolise good health.
- 8 stalks: symbolize growth.
- 9 stalks: encourage a person’s good luck by giving them to them as a gift.
- 10 stalks: symbolizes completion, wishing someone to have all they have dreamed of in life.
- 21 stalks: symbolize great wealth and enduring health.
Aside from their symbolic meaning, Lucky Bamboos are easy to care for.
Water plants tend to grow in any water arrangement; whether it is a glass vase or a pebble container filled with water. However, changing the water and cleaning the container is extremely important to avoid fungus and mold.
In low light conditions, this plant becomes unhealthy, while in high light, such as direct sun exposure, it becomes scorched. It does best in medium light conditions.
4. PEACE LILY (SPATHIPHYLLUM)
By purifying the air within the living space and correcting imbalances energetical, the Peace Lily purifies.
Feng Shui Plants listed in this article probably have the trickiest care among them.
This plant is only tricky in that it is prone to brown tips. Other than that, it is a very easy plant to maintain.
However, the higher the level of indirect light they receive, the more gorgeous white specialized leaves they produce. Peace Lilies thrive in medium light conditions.
It is more dangerous to overwater this plant than to underwater it, so it should not be watered on a schedule. You should water Peace Lilies when the top layer of soil feels dry to the touch. Best of all, Peace Lily lets you know by drooping all its leaves when it is time to water. As long as you respond to the plant’s needs for water quickly, allowing the leaves to droop is not damaging, but do not let the leaves droop for more than two days.
Water your plants with distilled water in order to prevent brown tips.
5. RUBBER PLANT (FICUS ELASTICA)
There is a lot of wealth and abundance associated with rubber plants.
You can keep this Feng Shui plant alive for a very long time; it is indeed a beautiful potted plant.
There are various colors and sizes available, and they can be fairly easily cared for.
A rubber plant has to thrive in bright, indirect light conditions. Lower light levels will make the leaves appear duller, even if they are variegated.
When the first inch of top soil is dry and crumbly, water it thoroughly to ensure that all the moisture has drained away from the saucer.
6. ENGLISH IVY (HEDERA HELIX)
The soft spikes of English Ivy symbolize protection against negativity, making it a suitable plant for any Bagua aspect of the home.
A lot of beauty comes from this species of Ivy since it’s dainty and detailed.
A trailing Feng Shui plant as well as one of the few in existence.
Plants grow relatively fast when they are well taken care of.
These plants are very versatile and adaptable; they require little maintenance, require low light, are non-toxic to children and pets, and thrive in low light conditions. The air purification power of this plant is second to none and it is an ideal hanging plant!
English Ivy prefers medium light, although it can thrive in moderately low light levels. Its variegated leaves thrive and continue to produce variegated leaves with higher light levels.
To identify whether the top inch of soil in your plant is dry enough for irrigation, it’s a good idea to check it with your finger, since these plants do not like to be overwatered. At the same time, do not let the soil dry completely!
7. ORCHID (ORCHIDACEAE)

Orchids flourish in high humidity, and the secret is to hold the pot on a tray of pebbles filled with water to keep it wet.
